My Blog

Columns and blogs will always hold a special place in my writing repertoire because they allow me to share some of my personal experience to connect with my readers on a deeper level. At the same time, they also allowed some of my personality and sense of humor to shine through.

My Portfolio

Spanning three decades and covering a myriad of topics and genres, my writing career is both lengthy and diverse. I do not plan to stop writing any time soon. As such, I have endeavored to select examples in my portfolio that showcase my range as a writer, as well as demonstrate my love of bringing stories to life through my writing.

About Me

I am a Journalist with over 30 years of experience in bringing stories to life. I often joke that I have ink instead of blood in my veins, but the simple fact is, there is nothing quite as exciting to me as the adrenaline rush I feel when I am chasing down a lead on a story. And yes, I even had the opportunity to yell “Stop the presses” once.

My Other Websites

I first joined the internet age in 1998 when I made a website for Knight Times, the weekly newspaper I started while a student at the University of Central Florida (UCF). The internet has come a long way since those early dial up days.
